In the few short weeks following the debut of 'Anywhere But Here', Gainstrive recieved in not one, but TWO write ups in publications around the world! Rock Arena's online music magazine, which is based in the UK, featured our new record on their upcoming artists page which was very humbling. A week later, Overdrive Magazine did a review of the EP and gave it an 89 out of 100! THANKS TO OUR AMAZING FANS, GAINSTRIVE HAS REACHED THE #1 SPOT ON REVERBNATION FOR ROCK/ALT! Last year, we were selected to perform in ReverbNation's Hard Rock Rising Semi-Finals Competition, because of the immense support our fans always show us. I’m Dave (Guitarist/Executive Producer at Gainstrive), and I'm here to welcome you to our brand new blog! As some of you may already know, we’ve been working tirelessly over the past five months to show you our sophomore release, Anywhere But Here - EP. If you enjoyed our album, you’re going to love the fresh yet familiar style found in our latest work. It was heavily inspired by some of our greatest influences like Circa Survive, Issues, Etc. We’re so excited to bring you into a whole new era of Alternative Rock and play our hearts out live. I’ll be doing an ongoing blog series penning our adventures at Milkboy Studios and giving all of you an inside look at the process behind making a killer record. But before then, I'd like to share an interview we did with Brandon @ Audio Addiction!
